Product Description:

Upsee is mobility harness designed to allow children with motor impairment to stand and move with the help of an adult. It allows children with additional needs to experience upright movement like anyone else, allowing them to participate in those moments that make family life special.  

Some have been able to stand and hug their little brother or sister for the first time. Some have waved at neighbours on their first ever walk along their own street. And some crossed the playground hand-in-hand with their best friend for the very first time.

Each kit comes with child body harness, infant child sandal ( children shoe size 3-7 XS, 5-13 S-L ), Adult sandal (shoe size 3-11) and an adult belt size standard. Please see the table for more specific sizing information.

  • Suitable for children aged 1-8 with a maximum user weight of 25Kg/33lbs
  • approximate size by age 1-2 (XS), 2-4 (Small), 4-6 (Medium), 6-8 (Large) - Please see Size guide for more specific sizing 
  • The Upsee kit is made up of three parts: an adult hip-belt, a child harness and shared sandals.
  • Facilitates gradual weight-bearing, standing and walking with the assistance of an adult.
  • It is a revelation for many kids with neuromuscular disorders. 

 

Before you order the Upsee you should ensure that your child meets the following criteria, otherwise we strongly recommend you do not proceed with your purchase until you seek advice from your child’s therapist

1. Your child should already be participating in a standing or walking programme
2. Your child’s shoulders should not be higher that the adults navel/belly button.
3. The Adults body shape should not prevent the child from standing upright.
