Most children learn to read at school with reading scheme books. There are up to 18 colour bands used in schools covering reception class to Year 6 (age 11) - colours range from Lilac through to Lime. Colour book band labels are available as a free download from various websites (e.g. Twinkl). These units offer flexibility, as books can be both stored and displayed face on or spine on.
